Greetings to all those who read our family blog. I regret not setting time aside to blog about our parenting experiences. Lav and I imagined having all the time we needed to enjoy our son, scrapbook, update facebook hourly, and of course blog it up. But man looking back on the first 6 weeks, I am brought to tears thinking of all that has changed and how fortunate we are to have our healthy happy WILLIAM!
William has already been held by almost all of our friends and family members (I know because Lav was sure to take a picture of every loved one holding Will). In six weeks and 36 hours he already is grown out of the newborn diapers and his first set of clothing. We called our parents countless times seeking answers to our worries, visited all the doctors, went back to the hospital, saw a Dentist, met with lactation consultants, worried for hours, laughed for more and feeling we can't hold him enough. His foot (I swear) has grown an inch! Our family experienced our first Christmas.
It's AMAZING looking at our son and holding him and seeing him grow. After William was born and in my arms for the first time I was overcome with joy (of course) but I was thinking to myself, "he's already 5 minutes old.....10 minutes old....1 week old.....2 weeks 2 days 18 hours 5min (thinking in the middle of the night while he is screaming his head off).... and now 6+ weeks old. Wow has time "grown" by.
