I am sitting here rocking Landon, listening to the sounds of the washer, dryer, and dishwasher all hard at work. I love those sounds because they make me feel productive even though I'm technically not washing a thing. However, I will say the loading and unloading these loads full of bottle/sippy/pump parts and dozens of soiled and dirty garments is a part time job all on its own... And that's not even taking in account folding and putting away the laundry... Or ironing! Ugggg seriously: how do people DO IT?!?!?
So far today I've been up since 5:30. After I fed Landon, pumped, showered and got ready, put away laundry from two baskets, and ate and cleaned up breakfast it was time to go to church. After church we hit up Costco and got gas. Then we had lunch and after another feeding session, we tried to clean up again and be productive. The time was already 2pm. Now William is supposed to be napping upstairs, and Dom's at the grocery store. I'm supposed to be grading papers or doing my lesson plans, but how?
Perhaps I need to hire a professional baby holder, laundry-doer, ironer, wet nurse, and/or organizational assistant.
I'll start taking applications for my own Louise from St. Louis tomorrow. For now I'll put the finally sleeping Landon down and get some work started... and probably not finished.
This blog follows the life and times of a crazy couple (Dom and Lav) and their two young boys, William (3) and Landon (almost one already)! We moved outside of Toledo after owning a home there for five years, and are currently adjusting to life in the burbs/township. Life is a little hectic, but we are handling it all fairly well. Enjoy reading our updates and we'd love to hear from you!

Life with Landon: Laughing
Today was the first day Landon laughed. I was playing peek a boo with him and for a split second during his usual "ewww"s and "ahhhh"s he chuckled. It was the most special sound I've heard in a long time and it totally made my entire week, which quite frankly needed to be made.
I can't wait to hear that sound again. Hopefully tomorrow!!!
